BALANCER:
Hines most accurate balancer is a hard bearing balancer fully amplified by electronics. Cobra balances the internal components of the engine with this state-of-the-art computerized auto memory programmed machine. This balancer uses constant speed of rotation, checks the internal quality of the crankshaft, achieving a more accurate end result in less time. The difference between this machine and others is night and day.

FLOW BENCH:
An intricate and unique part of the Cobra Head Shop, we house the highest powered model available. Testing eliminates guesswork, producing hard-core data to manufacture top performance engines with more reliability and maximum efficiency. Since an engine is basically air flow, you get more horsepower.

DYNOMETER:
These sophisticated computerized dyno’s are unsurpassed. Cobra monitors such vital signs as exhaust temperatures, air & fuel consumption, air & fuel ratios, horsepower and torque readings. THE RESULTS…. A power plant that is more responsive through the entire power range, and that has a longerlife and requires low maintenance.

MACHINE SHOP:
Cobra’s Machine Shop consists of a Rottler Boring Machine, Sunnen Line Hone machine, Cylinder Honing Machine and a Magnuflux. Cobra updates continually with the best equipment available on the market. Customized machining equipment is crucial forseeing part failure and ensuring reliability and long life in a Cobra engine. Whether you need a block repaired or rebuilt Cobra can handle any of your needs.

CYLINDER HEAD SHOP:
Unique from the average engine building shop is Cobra’s custom-tooled head shop. We have the lastest updated machinery available on the market which insures Cobra the finest quality job. A modern clean work environment houses machinery for valve jobs, cylinder refacing, cylinder head porting and valve guide clearance, just to name a few.

TRANSMISSION & DRIVE SHOP:
This entity extends Cobra service to the fullest with largest inventory of drive and transmission parts in stock. The Shop is equipped to repair and rebuild all transmissions and drives available on the market today. This service is an integral part of a complete offshore performance boat.
